作品介绍：在大基建浪潮以‘中国速度’推进的今天，‘匠心’正在成为最奢侈的施工标准，所以当我接到建投集团的作品要做个匠心的时候，我知道

匠心是每个行业的追求，要说我们其实这种装置的形式早已驾轻就熟，但在每次现场落地时，总会因图案或场地的具体情况而面临巨大挑战。

这类装置仿佛是因地制宜的产物。要做出好的作品，需要考虑的因素非常多：观看尺度、呈现角度、背景色搭配、悬挂物挑选，以及如何拍摄才能展现

最佳效果。

如果只用整体的大体块，细节就过于简单，缺乏雕刻般的匠心感。因此，我将体块拆得非常“碎”，却也带来了更多连接线条的难题。线条的固定、受

力平衡的模拟，都让我头疼不已。为此，我专门编写了算法，在三维空间中模拟悬挂的受力情况；同时，工厂也进行了多次测试，材料受力问题也被重

点关注。

更棘手的是，现场空间层高十分尴尬：装置做出来后显得狭窄，顶部几乎贴顶。我不可能降低装置——那样就像低着头看作品，不符合“匠心”应有的

神态。原本考虑过将顶盘抬高，穿透天花板，但成品吊顶结构已无法改动。最终，我选择将装置顶部做成镜面不锈钢，让它反射下方作品，从而营造出

更好的空间感。

“匠心”在这个装置中得到了生动呈现——仿佛通过我们的一丝不苟，它被具象化地展现出来。

In today’s era of large-scale infrastructure development advancing at "China Speed," Ingenuity has become the most luxurious construction standard. When I was commissioned by the Construction Investment Group to create a piece on this theme, I knew that ingenuity is the pursuit of every industry. While our team is well-versed in such installations, each on-site execution presents significant challenges due to variations in patterns or spatial constraints.

These installations often feel like tailor-made solutions. Crafting an outstanding work requires considering numerous factors: viewing scale, presentation angle, background color coordination, suspended elements, and even how to photograph it for the best effect.

Using only large, monolithic blocks would result in overly simplistic details, lacking the sculpted sense of ingenuity. Thus, I fragmented the structure extensively—yet this introduced complexities in connecting the lines. Issues like securing the lines and simulating force distribution gave me headaches. To address this, I developed an algorithm to model the suspension’s stress distribution in 3D space, while the factory conducted multiple material stress tests.

An even trickier challenge was the awkward ceiling height on-site: the installed piece felt cramped, nearly touching the top. Lowering the installation was not an option—viewing it with a bowed head would contradict the dignified essence of "Ingenuity." Initially, we considered raising the top disc to break through the ceiling, but the finished suspended structure could not be modified. Ultimately, I opted for a mirror-finished stainless steel top surface, reflecting the lower part of the piece to enhance the spatial perception.

In this installation, Ingenuity is vividly embodied—as if, through our meticulous efforts, it has been tangibly realized.
